CANCELLATION POLICY
We hope that everyone enjoys all lessons that they attend with David Hall Tennis. Please note that there is now a cancellation policy for individual and group lessons set out below.

Individual lessons

There is now a 24 hour cancellation policy in effect for individual lessons. If the cancellation is later than this time unfortunately the full cost of the lesson will be charged.
In the event of poor weather conditions, the final decision on whether to cancel a session will be taken by the Coach responsible for that session. If a customer decides not to attend then no refund will be given.

Group lessons

Please assume in the first instance that all sessions will go ahead and bring suitable waterproof or cold weather clothes for the conditions. If the Coach decides that a session needs to be cancelled before the session begins, or during the session due to inclement weather, a catch up session will be offered during the current term or a credit towards the following term.
In the event of a cancellation, you will be contacted by email, text or WhatsApp. Please confirm receipt of the lesson cancellation on each occasion. Please note that Coaches will contact everyone in the group at once and will not be able to respond individually to texts, e-mails or calls querying the weather as they are likely to be on-court.
Sometimes, decisions will be taken at short notice, as the weather is so changeable but we will endeavour to give you at least 1 hour notice.
If you are unable to attend any group lessons during the term no refunds will be given for sessions missed. However, if you are unable to complete the course due to injury for an extended period a credit will be applied towards the next course for the number of missed sessions.

Cancellations by the coaching team

As a coaching team we may cancel individual or group sessions for the following reasons:

1.Due to adverse weather conditions- any decision we make to cancel a session is fundamentally based on whether the court is playable but also if it could result in a bad experience. Many sessions will still go ahead in wind, light rain or cold weather. If the weather forecast immediately prior to the session is poor, any decision by us to cancel will be made as late as it is reasonably possible. As we appreciate customers are travelling to the venue, we will endeavour to make a cancellation decision at least one hour prior to commencement. The final decision will be made by the coach and if a customer decides not to attend no refund will be given. Customers will be sent an email and/or text, WhatsApp message once a decision to cancel has been made.

2. Coach illness/extenuating circumstances - In the case that the coach is unable to take a lesson and it has to be cancelled due to sickness or other circumstances a replacement date will be offered.

Junior Holiday Camps

If we deem on the day of the Junior Holiday Camp that it needs to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or coach illness, we will issue you with a full refund for the session. For clarity, if a session has started and is rained off no refunds will be given however we will try to offer a credit by offering an alternative session in the week or extending the time of another camp that week if possible.

Many thanks for your on-going support to the programme.
